今日はこの本を勧めます
「日本はこうして世界から信頼される国になった」という本です。
著者は、有名な経営コンサルタントの佐藤芳直氏です。
この推薦文を渡部昇一氏が書いています。
私は、本の題名が面白そうであることと、私の尊敬する渡部氏が推薦しているので、読むことにしました。
この本は著者が息子の由樹君に日本の歴史を語るという形式で書かれています。
そのため、非常に読みやすい本です。
本の内容は、日本の11個の歴史を、祖先の勇気と努力という観点から説明されています。
この本を読めば、日本の祖先を誇る気持ちになると思います。日本が好きになると思います。
多くの日本人は、戦争でアジアに侵略し迷惑をかけたと思っています。
私も日本は良い国であるとは思っていませんでした。
私は、太平洋戦争を起こした日本は、悪い国だと思っていました。
最近私は、冷静に考える時間が持てるようになりました。
それでこんなことがわかりました。
戦争は、どちらか一方が悪いから、起こるものではない。
戦争に至ったのには、アメリカがあるにも戦争をしなければならない理由があった。
日本は、戦後、 アメリカ軍による占領を6年間受けています。
この間、軍の情報統制を受けました。
その目的は、日本だけが戦争を起こした責任があるというものでした。
このため、多くの日本人は、戦争をした原因を作った日本が悪い、と思うようになりました。 敗戦後は、日本人自身も大変反省し、そのように思いました。
私は、敗戦後から7年後に生まれましたが、学校では、日本だけが悪いという風に教えられて来ました。
それでも子供の頃変だなと思ったことがあります。
広島の原爆ドームに刻まれている言葉は、「安らかに眠って下さい 過ちは 繰返しませんから」となっています。
これでは、原爆を落とした責任は、日本にあると言っているようです。
原爆を落としたのは、アメリカなのに変だなと思ったことがあります。
最近、日本人は、やっと公平な見方をできるようになりました。
素晴らしい 祖先の話を聞くことは大変嬉しいことです。
それで、私は、この本を推薦します。

Today I recommend this book.
The book is titled “How Japan Became a Country Trusted by the World.”
The author is Yoshinao Sato, a famous management consultant. The recommendation was written by Shoichi Watanabe. I decided to read this because the title sounded interesting and because Watanabe, whom I respect, recommended this.
This book is written in the form of the author telling the history of Japan to his son Yuki. As a result, it is a very easy to read.
The book explains 11 historical events of Japan from the perspective of the courage and efforts of our ancestors.
If you read this book, I think you will feel proud of your Japanese ancestors. I think you will love Japan.
Many Japanese people believe that Japan invaded Asia and caused trouble during the war.
I also did not think that Japan was a good country.
I thought that Japan was a bad country because it started the Pacific War.
Recently, I have had time to think calmly.
And I have realized this.
War does not happen because one side is at fault.
There were reasons why America had to start the war.
After the war, Japan was occupied by the US military for seven years.
During this time, the military controlled information.
The purpose was to teach Japanese as though Japan alone was responsible for starting the war.
Because of this, many Japanese people came to believe that Japan was to blame for creating the cause of the war. After the war was lost, the Japanese themselves reflected deeply and came to this conclusion.
I was born seven years after the war ended, and at school I was taught that Japan alone was to blame.
Even so, there was something that struck me as strange when I was a child.
The words engraved on the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima read, “Rest in peace, for we will not repeat the mistake.”
This seems to say that the responsibility for dropping the atomic bomb lies with Japan.
I thought that was strange, considering that it was America that dropped the atomic bomb.
Recently, Japanese people have finally been able to take an unbiased view of things.
It is very pleasing to hear the stories of our wonderful ancestors.
So, I recommend this book.
