外国語を学んだ人は、貿易の面で日本の経済的発展に大きく貢献した人たちです。
その中でも、中国語を学ぶ人には、他の人とは違う特徴があります。
彼らは、あまり目立ちません。政治的な話題も話しません。どうして中国語を勉強するのかも説明しません。
私は、中国の学習を始めてから7年になります。
私は、中国語の学友を観察していて、普通の人と違う観点を持っていると思います。
ですから、中国語を話す石川さんにも以下のような特徴があると思います。
１．彼らは、中国を尊敬している。
彼らは、日本の文化的な基盤を作っているのは、中国であるという、尊敬の念を持っています。
彼らの多くは、東南アジアで現地の工場長をしていて、仕事は、日本語で行っていたそうです。それでも中国語を話す部下たちの言葉が理解できるようになりたいと思って、仕事を離れてから中国語の勉強を始めたそうです。
２．彼らは、中国の存在は、大きいと感じている。
彼らは、仕事や旅行で、たくさんの国に行っています。多分、彼らは、英語のクラスの人より、たくさんの国や地域に行っています。
その結果、彼らは、「中国の存在は、世界の中で最も重要だ。」と感じたのでしょう。
今日は、「中国語を学ぶ人の特徴には、二つある。」と話しました。
Characteristics of people who study Chinese
Those who study foreign languages have made a great contribution to Japan’s economic development in terms of trade.
Among them, those who study Chinese have characteristics that set them apart from others.
They don’t stand out much. They don’t talk about political topics. They don’t explain why they study Chinese.
It’s been seven years since I started studying Chinese.
I’ve been observing my Chinese classmates and I think they have a different perspective than ordinary people.
So I think Mr. Ishikawa, who speaks Chinese, also has the following characteristics.
- They respect China.
They have a sense of respect for China, which is the foundation of Japan’s culture.
Many of them were local factory managers in Southeast Asia and worked in Japanese. However, they wanted to be able to understand their Chinese-speaking subordinates, so they started studying Chinese after leaving their jobs. - They feel that China has a big presence.
They go to many countries for work and travel. They probably go to more countries and regions than the people in English classes.
As a result, they probably felt that “China’s existence is the most important in the world.”
