私は、5月11日から理想の仕事をしています。
昨年に引き続き今年も、梨農家の吉田さんから電話があり、摘果の仕事を手伝っています。
この仕事は、後1週間で終わります。
摘果作業は、この時期にやらねばなりません。作業力が臨時的に必要です。
6人がパートタイムの作業員として雇われました。
私は、この臨時の仕事は、非常に疲れる仕事ですが、仕事の理想だと思います。
私は、何故そう感じたのでしょうか。
私は、ほとんど公務員として働いてきました。
自衛隊の隊員として、外務省の職員として60歳まで勤務しました。
特に自衛隊の仕事は 顧客である国民から特に感謝されることはないのです。
最近は、中国と北朝鮮のおかげで軍隊の必要性が認識されてきましたが、私の勤務していた時代は、無視されている状態でした。
しかし、この臨時的な仕事は、梨農家の吉田さんから非常に感謝されます。
この仕事は、お客さんから直接感謝されるのです。
このため、私は、このような仕事は理想的な仕事だと思います。
Ideal job
I’ve been doing my ideal job since May 11th. This year too, I received a call from pear farmer Yoshida-san and am helping him with the thinning work. This job will be over in one week. The thinning work must be done at this time of year. Temporary labor is needed. Five people have been hired as part-time workers.
I think this temporary job is the ideal job, even though it is very tiring.
Why do I feel this way?
I have worked almost entirely as a civil servant. I worked until I was 60 as a member of the Self-Defense Forces and as an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In particular, the work of the Self-Defense Forces is not particularly appreciated by the people, who are the customers. Recently, thanks to China and North Korea, the need for the military has been recognized, but during my time working there, its job was ignored.
However, this temporary job is very much appreciated by pear farmer Yoshida-san. This job is directly appreciated by the customers.
For this reason, I think this type of work is ideal.
