多文化共生社会は、まやかしだ。
私は、移民を希望する外国人に、日本の文化を受け入れて、最終的には日本人になってください、とお願いするべきだと思います。
先月の23日に千葉県の「国際理解セミナー」を聞きに行きました。
講演の題は「パプアニューギニアから考える多文化共生社会」でした。
講師は、パプアニューギニア人の大学の先生でした。
パプアニューギニアには、言語は約800あるそうです。それだけの数の文化があるということです。
その国で大切なものは、３つです。豚と女性と土地です。
土地があればバナナとヤシの木があります。この二つがあれば、彼らは、生きていくことができ、他の部族とも交流する必要がない、そうです。バナナがあれば食料になります。ヤシの木は、住居の材料になります。この二つのすべての部分は、生活に使えるそうです。
ところが彼は、多文化共生社会のメリットは何も話してくれませんでした。多分話すほどの価値がないと思ったのだと思います。
最近、マスコミの中で、多文化共生について報道されることが多くなりました。学校教育の中でも、多文化共生について教育されています。
昨年7月、岸田文雄首相は人口減少を踏まえて「外国人と共生する社会を考えていかなければならない」と語りました。
一般的には、メリットとしてイノベーションの促進を図れると言われています。例えばアメリカのように世界の頭脳を集め、新しいビジネスモデルを生み出しています。
しかし、デメリットとして文化的摩擦や不平等が発生します。
それでも日本の労働人口を維持するためには、移民を受け入れ多文化共生社会を構築しなければならないという事だと思います。
かつてローマ帝国が新しい国を占領した時の条件は、最低限のローマの慣習を守ることでした。それ以外は、かれらの宗教も認めました。
私は、ローマのやり方をとるべきだと思います。
日本は、「多文化共生社会は、目指しません。移民を希望する外国人は、日本文化を受け入れて、最終的には、日本人になってください。そうしたら、日本は、移民を受け入れます。」と明示するべきだと思う。

Recently, there has been a lot of coverage in the media about multicultural coexistence. Even in school education, children are taught about multicultural coexistence.
In July of last year, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said, “We must think about a society that coexists with foreigners” in light of the declining population.
It is generally said that one of the benefits is that it can promote innovation. For example, countries like the United States gather brains from around the world and create new business models.
However, the disadvantage is that cultural friction and inequality occur.
However, in order to maintain Japan’s working population, I believe that we must accept immigrants and build a multicultural society.
In the past, when the Roman Empire occupied a new country, the condition was that it adhere to the minimum Roman customs. Other than that, the Roman Empire also allowed their religion.
I think we should imitate the Roman way.
Japan does not aim for a multicultural society.Foreigners who wish to immigrate should accept Japanese culture and ultimately become Japanese.Japan will then accept immigrants. I think it should be clearly stated.
