私は、日ごろから女の子は男の子より優秀だと思っていました。
というのは、私の教える英語塾では、同じ10歳でも女の子の方が学習能力が高いからです。
先日、シニアクラブの同じ班の７人でカラオケにいきました。
男4人 女3人です。皆さん、72歳から83歳の老人です。
この時、私は妻に主導権をとられていて何でも言うことを聞くことになると言いました。
そうしたら、全員の家庭内で、妻が主導権をもっていると言っていました。
私は、非常に安心すると同時に、家庭内では、何処でも女性上位なのだと思いました。
その時、一人の男性が、「昔、子供たちを学ばせる時、７歳になったら、学ぶ場所を変える。席を同じにしない。」という諺の意味を説明してくれました。
これは、「女の方が男よりも早く成熟し物覚え早いので、一緒の場所で教える事ができない。」という意味なのだと教えてくれました。
また、「男は、やっと30歳頃になって初めて女と同等になる。」と言っていました。
確か10年ほど前に、日本医科大学の入学試験で、男女に差をつけていたことが問題となったことがありました。大学側は、「差をつけないと女性の学生が多くなってしまうので、そういう習慣でした。」と説明していました。
現在男女同権と言われています。しかし能力的には、女性上位なのです。
現在日本では、男女同権が叫ばれていますが、行き過ぎだと思います。
現実は、男性の地位を少し上げないと男女同権にはなれません。
私は、男女同権は間違っていると思います。
家庭内では、明らかに女性上位なのですから。

About 10 years ago, there was a news about Nippon Medical School’s entrance exams for the differences between men and women. The university explained, “If we don’t make a difference, there will be more female students, so this was the custom.”
Nowadays, it is said that men and women have equal rights. However, in terms of ability, women are superior.
Currently in Japan, there is a lot of talk about equal rights for men and women, but I think it has gone too far.
The reality is that gender equality cannot be achieved unless men’s status is raised a little.
In the family, the women are clearly in the upper position.
I think that gender equality is wrong.
