私は、今日はこの本をお勧めします。
「もし野球部のマネージャーがドラッカーの「マネジメント」を読んだら」という本です。
皆さんは、「マネジメント」という本を読んだことがありますか。
皆さんもこれを読まれたことと思います。
これは、ピーター・F・ドラッカーが30年以上も前に書いた経営についての本です。
彼は、ナチスの迫害を逃れ、アメリカに渡り、最初に経営学を作り出しました。
私が若いころ、１９７０年代は、彼の本が本屋のビジネスコーナーにいつも並んでいました。
私も読んでみました。しかし、よく分かりませんでした。
UNIQLOの柳井会長は、彼の本を愛読していたそうです。
彼は、この本の考え方にしたがってビジネスのやり方を変えたと言っています。
ところが、普通の人が読むと、抽象的でわかりません。実際の経営者でないと具体的に理解できません。
この本を読めば、彼の考え方が理解できます。
これは、高校の 野球部のマネージャーが、マネージメントについて具体的に野球部に適用 してゆく過程を説明しています。ですから、非常に簡単に理解できるでしょう。
彼の考え方の最も重要なメッセージは、「成果」です。全て「成果」を中心に組み立てなければ、自然とチームワークも評判も成果に伴ってできてくるという事です。
今では当たり前のことだと思います。しかし当たり前の事を当たり前に行うというのが一番難しいと思います。
この本を読んでから、マネジメントのエッセンシャル版を読むことをお勧めします。

This is a book about management written by Peter F. Drucker over 30 years ago.
He escaped Nazi persecution and went to America, where he created the field of learning called the business administration at first.
When I was young, in the 1970s, his books were always lined up in the business section of the bookstore.
I read it too. But I didn’t understand.
It is said that UNIQLO’s chairman, Yanai, loved reading his books.
Mr. Yanai said the ideas in the book have changed the way he does his business.
However, when ordinary people read it, it is abstract and incomprehensible. Unless you’re an actual manager, you can’t really understand.
If you read this book, you can understand his way of thinking.
It describes the process by which a high school baseball manager applied management to the baseball team. So it will be very easy for you to understand.
The most important message of his way of thinking is ‘achievement’. If you build everything around ‘achievement’, your teamwork and reputation will naturally follow the results.
I think it’s common sense now. However, I think the most difficult thing is to do the obvious things.
After reading this book, I recommend reading the Essential Edition of Management.
