ロシアとウクライナの戦争の後、ウクライナは中立国となり、ロシアは小国となる。
先日私は「日本がウクライナになる日」という本を読みました。
それは、私が著者を知っている人だったからです。
著者の河東哲男氏は、ウズベキスタンの大使をしていたことがあります。
私が、ウズベキスタン大使館で働いていた時、大使館の本棚に「外交官の仕事」という本が置いてありました。その本の著者が、河東大使でした。
私は、その本を読んで、彼は非常に正直な方だなという印象を持ちました。
それで私は、この本を読もうと思いました。
彼は、ロシアを良く知る専門家です。
私は、彼の予測を知りたいと思いました。
彼は、戦争の終結はどのようになり、戦後の世界状況をどのように変化して行くと考えているのだろう。
一言で言えば、ロシアは改革不能の社会であり、いずれ弱体化する。
戦争終結には、ウクライナの中立化が必要となるだろう。NATOは、日本も含めて拡大するだろう。
今日は、河東哲夫氏の予測を紹介しました。結果は、１年以内に分かるでしょう。
After the war between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine will become a neutral country and Russia will become a minor country.

Because I knew the author.
The author, Tetsuo Kawahigashi, used to be an ambassador to Uzbekistan.
When I was working at the Uzbekistan embassy, there was a book on the embassy’s bookshelf called “The Work of a Diplomat.” The author of the book was Ambassador Kawahigashi.
After reading the book, I got the impression that he was a very honest person.
So I decided to read this book.
He is an expert who knows Russia well.
I wanted to know his predictions.
How does he think the war will end and how the world will change after the war?
In a one word, Russia is an unreformable society that will eventually weaken.
Ending the war will require the neutralization of Ukraine. NATO will expand to include Japan.
