学歴や資格は、社会にとってやはり必要です。
先日、私は、東大生の年寄りに腹が立つことがありました。
私は、東大の学歴を持つといっても、普通の人よりも考える力が劣る人がいると思いました。
元東大生が私の意見に反対する意見を述べたのです。ところが、その理由をはっきりと述べられないのです。
後から分かったことなのですが、結局自分の本当の意見を隠していたのです。
彼は頭が良いから自分の意見を上手く隠したのです。
そんな事があって、私は、学歴なんか必要ないのではないかと思いました。
私は、格付けをしない社会の方が、良いのではないか思いました。
ところが、現実は、格付けだらけです。
会社の就職には、学歴が必要です。大学の入学試験には、偏差値による格付けが必要です。
私も TOEIC という格付けの仕事を手伝っています。年間に約70万人が受験しているそうです。
私は、アメリカとかイリスでは、もっと厳しい学歴社会だと言っ聞いています
この学歴や資格は、社会から必要とされていて、社会に役立っています。非常に便利な区分わけのツールなので、これがなくなることはないでしょう。
私のような腹が立つ事例は、非常に少ないでしょう。
やはり有名大学を出た人間は立派なひとである事が多い、と思います。
このクラブの中では二人が有名大学出身です。波多野さん石川さん、二人とも立派な人です。間違いありません。
格付け社会はやっぱり必要です。
Academic background and qualifications are still necessary for society.
The other day, I got angry at an old man who graduated from Tokyo University.
I thought that he is a man who is inferior to ordinary people in their ability to think, even though he has a degree from the University of Tokyo.
An old graduate of the University of Tokyo expressed an opinion that opposed my opinion. However, the reason cannot be clearly stated.
As it turns out, he was hiding his true opinion after all.
Because he is smart, he hid his opinion well.
With that in mind, I thought our society didn’t need an academic background.
I thought that a society without ratings would be better.
However, reality is full of ratings.
An academic background is required to get a job at a company. University entrance examinations require a grading system based on deviation scores.
I work with TOEIC grading. About 700,000 people take the test each year in Japan.
I’ve heard that in America and the UK, they need a more strict educational background.
This educational background and qualifications are needed by society and are useful to society. It’s a very useful segmentation tool, and I don’t think it will go away.
“There are very few cases like mine that make you angry.”
After all, I think that people who graduated from famous universities are often excellent people.
Two of the club members are from famous universities. Mr. Hatano and Mr. Ishikawa are both great people. There is no mistake.
We really need a rating society.
