戦争責任はアメリカにもあった。

戦争の責任は、日本だけにあるのではない。

私は、今までずっと日本が太平洋戦争を仕掛けたのが悪いと思っていました。
多くの日本人は、日本陸軍が悪いとか、指導者達が間違っていた、と思っています。
私たちは、日本は悪かったので深く反省するべきだと思っています。

私は、この本のことは話を聞いて知っていましたが、読んではいませんでした。
この本は、右翼の人たちが勧める本です。

この本は、戦後、アメリカ人のヘレンミアーズと言う人が書いた本です。
しかし、占領軍司令官マッカーサーの指令により、発売禁止になったそうです。

しかし、私は、この本を読んで驚きました。
この本の要点は、３つです。
1、アメリカは、日本に第一撃を仕掛けさせるよう画策していた。日本の真珠湾攻撃は、奇襲攻撃ではない。
2、原爆投下は、日本に対して使ったのではなく、ソ連との政治戦争で使用した。
3、アメリカは、日本を東京軍事裁判で裁くほど、公正でも潔白でもない。

私は、この本を読んで、
アメリカ軍の教育に精神的にも支配されていた、と思いました。
精神的に支配されているなどと思ったこともありませんでした。
私は、「戦争の責任は、日本だけにあるのではない。」ということを学びました。

Japan is not the only country responsible for the Pacific War.

I have always thought that Japan was guilty of starting the Pacific War. Many Japanese think that the Japanese army is bad and that the leaders are wrong. We think that Japan should reflect deeply because Japan was bad.
I had heard about this book, but had not read it. This book is recommended by right-wing people.
This book was written by an American named Helen Mears after the Pacific War. However, it was banned from sale by the order of GHQ commander MacArthur.
I was deeply surprised when I read this book. This book has three main points.

1. The United States was plotting to force Japan to launch a first blow. Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor was not a surprise attack.
2. The atomic bombing was not used against Japan, but was used in the political war against the Soviet Union.
3. The United States is not so fair and innocent as to judge Japan at the Tokyo Military Court.

I read this book and I thought that I was mentally controlled by the American military education.
I never thought I was being controlled mentally by American occupation.
I learned that Japan was not the only one responsible for the Pacific War.
