著者は、このように言います。

全てこの数式で表現されるこの数式の通りに宇宙は動いているということを言っています。
驚きです。
この数式からブラックホールの存在が予想され、実際の観測によって確認できました。
重力波の揺らぎから、連星パルサーの存在が予測され、観測によって確認できました。
筆者は、天文学者の須藤靖氏です。
彼は、天文学の進歩の歴史を説明してくれました。
彼は、それで「宇宙は数式でできている」という題名の本を書きました。
