先々週の土日に、「星のや富士」というホテルに2泊しました。
義理の息子が私たちを招待してくれました。
予約料金は、7人で45万円かかりました。
このホテルは、変わったホテルでした。
このコンセプトは、「丘陵のグランピング」です。
私は、グランピングという言葉も知りませんでした。
これは、「豪華」と「キャンピング」をくっつけた造語だそうです。
ホテルは、河口湖を見晴らす山の斜面にあります。
全室から富士山を見ることができます。
ベランダにこたつがありました。少し雨が降ってきましたが、ここから富士山を眺めることができます。
私は、ハンモックで寝転がりました。
私は、薪割りをしました。子供の時にしたことがあるので特に珍しいことではありませんが、若いお客さんには楽しい体験のようでした。
私たちは、カヌーを漕ぐと言う初めての体験をしました。
私は、森の小屋の中でゆっくりと読書をしました。
私たちは、焚火でマシュマロを焼いて食べました。
私たちは、森の中でホットサンドを作り、昼食としました。
このホテルは、森の中でキャンプしているというようなホテルでした。
このホテルは、星野リゾートの傘下にあるホテルです。
私は、「星野リゾート」の名前は、ずっと長い間聞いたことはありますが、中身は何も知りませんでした。。
今回初めて調べてみたら、色々な特徴をもったホテルがたくさんあることが分かりました。
日本ばかりでなく海外にも展開しているそうです。
会社代表の目標は、「旅の産業は、平和維持産業である。我々は、人と人が国境を超えて理解を深め合うことに貢献する。」というのです。
私は、新しいコンセプトが従来のホテルを大きく変えたことを体験しました。
A new concept has changed the hotel.
Two weeks before the weekend, I stayed at a hotel called “Hoshinoya Fuji” for 2 nights. My son-in-law invited us.
The reservation fee was 450,000 yen for 7 people.
This hotel was a strange hotel. The concept is “hill glamping”. I didn’t even know the word glamping.
This is a coined word that combines “glamorous” and “camping.”
The hotel is located on a mountain slope overlooking Lake Kawaguchiko. You can see Mt. Fuji from all rooms.
There was a kotatsu on the balcony. Although it is raining a little, you can see Mt. Fuji from here.
I lay down in a hammock. I chopped wood. It’s not unusual because I’ve done it when I was a kid, but it seemed like a fun experience for other younger guests.
We had the first experience of rowing a canoe. I read books slowly in the forest hut. We baked and ate marshmallows on a bonfire. We made hot sandwiches in the woods for lunch. This hotel was like camping in the woods.
This hotel is part of Hoshino Resorts. I’ve heard the name “Hoshino Resorts” for a long time, but I didn’t know anything about it. When I checked it, I found that there are many hotels with various concepts. That company is expanding not only in Japan but also overseas. The goal of the company representative is “The travel industry is a peacekeeping industry. We will contribute to deepening understanding between people across national borders.”
I experienced that the new concept changed the traditional hotel significantly.
