今日は、羽中田 昌さんの講演を聞いて驚いたことを紹介します。
私は先日、羽中田 昌さんの講演を聞きました。
講演の題名は、「サッカーから見た多文化共生社会」でした。
彼は、車椅子の生活をしています。しかし、JFA の公認のプロサッカー監督でした。
羽中田さんは、現在57歳です。高校時代に3回全国サッカー大会に出場した、実績のある優秀な選手だったそうです。
大学受験の浪人中にバイクに乗り、事故にあい、一生歩けなくなったそうです。
その後、サッカーの指導者になるため、スペインに7年間留学したそうです。
それで、現在は、プロのサッカー監督、解説者およびエッセイストの仕事をしているそうです。
経歴を聞いて、唖然としました。
私は、こんな人が世の中に本当にいるんだと驚きました。
話の中心は、どうしてスペインがワールドカップで優勝できたのかという解説でした。
監督は、それまでチームの中心であった白人の有名選手を、黒人の選手に変えたそうです。つまり、多様なメンバーの力が活きるチームつくりをしたそうです。
これが、多文化共生社会だというのです。
その通りだと思いました。
Wheelchair professional soccer coach
Today, I would like to introduce what surprised me when I heard Mr. Masashi Hachuda’s lecture.
Two weeks ago on Saturday, I heard a lecture by Masashi Hachuda.
The title of the lecture was “Multicultural Society from the Viewpoint of Soccer”.
He lives in a wheelchair. However, he was a JFA official professional soccer coach.
Mr. Hachuda is now 57 years old. He is said to have been an excellent player with a record in participating in national soccer tournaments three times in high school.
After highschool, he was preparing for a college entrance exam. Oneday he rode a motorcycle, and he had an accident and couldn’t walk for the rest of his life.
After that, he worked for Yamanashi prefectural government, then he studied abroad in Spain for seven years to become a soccer coach.
So he is currently working as a professional soccer coach, commentator and essayist.
I was stunned to hear about his career.
I was surprised that such a person really exists in the world.
The focus of the story was on why Spain was able to win the World Cup.
The manager has changed the famous white player who was the center of the team to a black player. In other words, he created a team where the power of various members can be utilized.
This is a multicultural society.
I thought it was true.
