私は、先週の木曜日に詐欺を働きそうになりました。
お客様から、水没したスマホが修理できるかどうか、という問い合わせの電話がありました。
私は、修理が上手くできるかどうかは、実物を見てみないと分からないので、来てもらうように話しました。
実物を見てみたら、確かに水没サインがあり、電源も入りませんでした。
私なら、7000円くらいで修理できますと答えました。Amazonで調べてみたら同じものが3150円で売っていたからです。
そうしたら、お客さんは、「高額な修理見積書だけを作成してくれませんか。」
と頼まれました。高額な損害保険に入っているので修理費用は、そこから貰おうと考えている、ということでした。
私は、了解し、書類作成に2000円をいただくことにしました。
その後、調べてみたら確かにこの機種は、修理を受け付けていませんでした。
修理は、すべて52000円で受けているということが分かりました。
そこで、私は、4万円の見積書をつくってやろうと思いました。
その後、仕事から帰ってきた妻とお茶を飲んでいる時、こんなお客さんが来たと話しました。
そしたら、妻から、「それは詐欺に加担することだから直ぐに辞めるべきです。」言われました。
それで、私は、「私のやろうとした事が、第三者から見れば、犯罪だ。」と気づきました。
私は、金額も多くないないので、この程度なら良いのではないか、と考えていたのです。
私は、人は小さなこと犯罪者になるということを身をもって知りました。
A man becomes a criminal for small things.
I was about to commit a scam last Thursday.
I received a phone call from a customer asking if a submerged smartphone could be repaired.
I told him to come because I couldn’t tell if I could repair or not without looking at the real damaged smartphone.
When I looked at the real thing, there was certainly a submerged sign and the power did not turn on.
I answered that it can be repaired for about 7,000 yen. I looked it up on Amazon and found that the same one was sold for 3150 yen.
Then, the customer asked, “Would you like to make only a repair quote, one sheet of paper?”
He said that he had a large amount of insurance for damage, so he was thinking of getting the repair cost from there.
I understood and decided to charge 2000 yen to prepare the repair quote.
After that, when I looked it up at the SoftBank Home page, it was true that this model did not accept repairs.
All repairs that are model within 5 year were received for 52,000 yen.
Therefore, I decided to make a quotation of 40,000 yen.
After that, when I was drinking tea with my wife who came back from work, I told her that such a customer came.
Then my wife said, “It’s a scam and you should quit right away.”
So I realized that what I was trying to do was a crime from the viewpoint of an outsider.
I thought it would be good because it didn’t cost a lot of money.
I learned that a person can be a criminal by a small thing.
